Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled...

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going. Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. " John 14: 1-6

This is such a comforting passage, not only in times when someone you love is facing death, or dealing with the death of a loved one...but everyday. It's such a blessing to know that our Father loves us so much that He sent His Son to prepare a place for us. All we have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His atoning work on the cross of Calvary. No one goes to the Father but through Him. He IS the Way the Truth and the Life!

Father, thank You for this day and the comfort You so freely give to Your children who are hurting today. I ask You to hold Kathy, Nichole, Erica, and Buck in Your loving arms and let them cry on Your shoulder. They need You more than ever today. I plead the blood of Jesus to cover their broken hearts with healing. Thank You for what I know You are going to do. I love You. Amen and amen.

I came upon your post from a Google Alert I set up on the phrase, "plead the blood". Many of the hits I get on my blog,, come from searches done on that phrase. I thought you may be interested in reading what God showed me about pleading the blood over your family. I do this every morning. Check it out at: and scroll down toward the bottom of the page. Be blessed!
