Voting With Discernment...

"My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight..." Proverbs 3:21

Pray the vote. Pray that voters would cast their ballots with discernment and sound judgment, and not be swayed by smooth talk and meaningless rhetoric.

Father, thank You so much for this day and for bringing my Leighton home safely. As the election day draws close, may the prayers of Your people grow stronger and more fervent. My Lord, You value so deeply the qualities of good judgment and discernment, but it is easy for us to lose sight of them. Guide all those who will vote in this year's elections a sense of discernment and sound judgment, and let that discernment in turn bring discerning leaders into office. You have promised that if Your people who are called by Your name will humbly pray and seek Your face, and turn away from their wicked ways, You will hear and heal our land. Lord, our time is running out. Change the hearts of Your people to choose Your man in this election. I love You. Amen and amen.
