Cry Out...

"And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, 'Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!' " 2 Chronicles 14:11

Asa cried out to the Lord God for help in the battle against the Ethiopians. God answered his cries and brought victory to Asa and his men, although Asa had 580,000 men and the Ethiopian army had a million men. Nothing is too hard for God. If we are with God, He is with us. Nothing that is going on in our world today----no obstacle, no budget deficit, no energy crisis, no financial problem, no bailout, no presidential candidate----is bigger than God. Those problems may seem like giants, but with God, we can face those giants and come out victorious. Man will not prevail against God. Whatever happens in our world has to pass through God's hands first. He will use whatever happens for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Cry out to Him. He will answer you.

Father, I thank You for this day and for the blessings of life. Thank You for taking care of my Stella and baby Leighton. Lord, You know the physical problems that are creating a difficult pregnancy for her. But, Lord, nothing is too big for You...nothing is too hard for You. Leighton is a precious gift from You to our family who already loves her dearly. I pray Your healing hand of protection upon Stella and Leighton. Lord, when our loved ones are hurting, or in a crisis, everything else in this world pales in comparison. It puts all else in perspective. Father, I plead the blood of Jesus over Stella and Leighton. There is power in the blood to heal, and I claim that healing for her. I love You, Lord. Amen and amen.
